New Swing

On one of their recent daddy daughter days, Gunnar bought Elizabeth a new swing for the backyard. Grace already had one, but it was too much of a big kid swing for Elizabeth to use. Elizabeth LOVES her new swing, and Grace is great about helping push her.

The best part was Ellie's little voice saying "wheee, wheee, wheee" as she was swinging. SO CUTE!
After she got tired of pushing her, Grace moved on to her own swing and I pushed them both. They thought it was so fun to say hi to each other as their swings got closer to each other.

After swinging for quite a while, we went out to the front yard, as Gunnar hadn't mowed for a while so the weeds were getting kind of high. Grace likes to pretend that she is Ruth (from the Bible) gleaning in Boaz's field. The lighting was beautiful and with Elizabeth's blond curles and yellow dress she looked like a little beam of sunshine sent to us from heaven.

That would be a little sunshine beam who doesn't like to have dirt on her fingers.
