It finally feels like fall is here. It has been really cold and Friday and Saturday it poured down rain. There is now a small lake in our front yard. I took a picture yesterday, but it had already gone down quite a bit. In spite of the rain, we were able to spend some time with friends. Our friends the Davis's came up. Grace had fun with Reya (or REEE-a as Grace says) and Kora. Grace was a little envious of Reya's snack bag. A purse and food, what else could any girl want?My cousin Amy sent Grace a cute bathrobe. She loves wearing it and thinks it matches every outfit!
Since it has been raining and cold we have been letting Guapo in the house. Grace LOVES him and has loved having him around. We are thinking of getting rid of him though, because Gunnar is allergic to him (and all the dirt he constantly brings in) and we feel sorry for him having to be outside, when he isn't really an outside dog. We will see what exactly happens with him, but for now Grace and I have been enjoying having him around.
Grace reading books to Beth a.k.a "Mom needs to take a shower knowing Grace is safe." I don't know what I will do when she figures out how to get out of her crib.
My grandma had surgery after Thanksgiving, and thankfully is doing much better now. We sent her an e-get well card. I tried to take a picture of Grace holding the get well sign by herself, and was unsuccessful, so I had to help her out a bit.
Playmobiles were our favorite toys growing up. My mom bought Grace the Playmobile nativity set, and so far she is loving it. Being inside while it was raining and playing with Playmobiles reminded me so much of my childhood in Spain.
Lastly I have a picture from a couple weeks ago of Grace and her friend Ezequiel enjoying a little snack. Ezequiel has a new baby sister that fascinated Grace. Even though it was two weeks ago she still talks about her every day and wants to pray for her at night. So cute.
