Red Chair: 8 & 9 months

I think I forgot to post both Elizabeth's 8 and 9 month pictures, so I will post them both now, as her 10 month birthday quickly approaches.

At 9 months, Elizabeth pulls herself up to standing (she has been doing this since 7 months), she "glides" (aka, walks along the edge of stuff while holding on it) a little, still crawls like a mad woman. She says "Da-da," and recently has discovered her scream. She just moved into Grace's room and is still struggling to make the adjustment (did I mentioned she finally learned how to scream?).

She is still a very snuggly baby and likes to pretend to be shy and bury her head in my shoulder when people talk to her. She loves to "flirt" with Bob and Pat, the older couple that sit behind us in church. She loves following her sister around and looks at her with big adoring eyes. She is babbling more and more and we think we might have another talker on our hands.

She has starting eating more foods, she loves finger foods. Avocados, steamed carrots, tofu, cottage cheese, scrambled eggs, blueberries, and pretty much any soft fruit are favorites. She has three teeth and two more that looks like they will pop through soon.

She is still always so quick with a smile and brings us all so much joy. When I was little my nickname was "Sunshine girl" and I am thinking I may have to relinquish the title to Elizabeth as it fits her well.

So here we go at 8 months (these were while Gunnar was in Mongolia):

And 9 months:

I think it is amazing how much she grew in this one month. It seems like everyday she is doing or trying something new. I wish she could stay small and cuddly forever, but it is so fun to watch her discover new things.

Red Chair:7 months

Seven months old already! She is growing so fast. Her personality shows through more and more every day. She is sweeter than sweet, always has a smile to share, yet is determined and persistent. She loves white things, especially napkins, paper and Styrofoam cups. She already wishes she could keep up with Grace and thinks Linus the dog is hilarious.

Here she is, sweet 7 month old Elizabeth.
And with big sister Grace:
And an "outtake." Just a little chilaxin' while mom was trying to take her picture.

1 to 6

Half a year has gone by already since the birth of sweet Elizabeth. I think that she gets cuter and cuter every day that goes by. When I recently compared pictures, I think maybe I am right. Although I miss that tiny baby and especially her non-mobilness, nothing compares to that big smile and the way she buries her head in my shoulder.

So here she is at one month and again at 6 months. You have to love those little chub rolls. :)

Red Chair pictures: 6 months

I am loving the progress of Elizabeth's growth from the pictures in her little red chair. She was in a super silly mood when I took these pictures, look at that cheese ball smile!
Apparently, cheesy smiles run in the family!
Getting a picture of the two of them was a little tricky. I am guessing it will just go down hill from here. Or up hill. We kind of like the crazy kids.
After that, I put Grace down for a nap and took a couple pictures of Ellie, since it was her 6 month birthday and all. For some reason the light coming in the window were making her eyes look amazing! No touch up on the color at all. So incredibly precious.

Red Chair-5 months old

Time is flying by. Elizabeth rolls all over the floor, has started a bit of cereal, and is growing like a little weed. She still has that sweeter that sweet disposition and a huge toothless smile that melts my heart. She loves her sister and her face lights up when she sees her daddy. She could sleep better, but loves to cuddle in our bed, and I am a sucker for her smile. :) I could cry that she is growing up so fast, but so thankful that God gave her to us.

So here are her 5 month pictures in the big red chair.

I had trouble getting a good picture because she kept trying to sit on her own and toppling over, like this:Finally, I had Grace jump up and down behind me.
Oh the sweetness!
And the sisters:
I loved this one too:
And this makes me laugh, so funny!

4 months old!

Elizabeth turned four months on Christmas Eve, so I was running around getting ready, but I did managed to take a picture of her in the red chair.
Unfortunantly, though, Grace was in her pajamas and running around like a crazy girl, and by the time she was dressed, Elizabeth had changed into a more "practical" outfit. So I took their together picture the next day.
After that one, she was in such a happy mood and looking so adorable I couldn't resist this one. :)
To see her progress, you can click here for three months, two months and one month.

The Big Red Chair

My grandma bought Grace a big red chair a couple years ago for Christmas. It may be my very favorite piece of furniture I own. It is super comfortable, too. I love it so much I actually redid Grace's room with the chair as the inspiration so it would match.

My goal is to take a picture of Elizabeth in the chair every month so watch her grow. And there is one with Grace too, because if there is a camera, Grace wants in on the action. :) I didn't take one when she was a first born, so they start at 1 month:

And now month 2:

I can't believe how much she is grown already! I can't wait to watch her progress as she grows!

One month!

I took these pictures on the 24th to celebrate Elizabeth being one month old. I just didnt get around to posting them until now, as I had some many other things to share. :)

Unfortuantly, the precious little thing celebrated her one month birthday with a face full of acne, so I don't think any of these pictures will be blown up on a wall anytime soon, but you can see how she is growing.
