No Tienes Abuela?

That is what people in Spain say if you are bragging on yourself. It means "don't you have a grandma?" Because obviously if you did have a grandma, she would be saying all the wonderful things about you so you wouldn't have to say them about yourself.
Grace's Grandma (and Grandpa and Tia) came up to visit today. I am so thankful they make the effort to drive all this way to come up to see us. Grace loves having them here and loves having an audience.
For the longest time Grace refused to call my mom anything. Not Grandma, not Granny (my personal choice), not MooMoo (Gunnar's favorite-don't ask), not even Mary Lynn. Finally, on her terms she has come up for a name for her dear grandmother. "TA". That's it. We are trying to work on transitioning it to aubeliTA or Ta-Ta or something to sound more like a "real" grandma name, but for now she isn't budging.
